Infinia Integrator What’s New

This “What’s New” document will detail the major enhancements, new features, and changes made to the software since the version 8.0.0.4 release.

 

Added setup option to not use SQL Transactions for each module

Prior versions of the Infinia Integrator used a single SQL transaction to import the transactions into Dynamics GP. Example: ten journal entries would be imported into Dynamics GP using a single SQL transaction. If during the import process an error incurred, the Integrator would “roll back” the transactions out of the batch in GP, and back into the Integrator. Example errors incurred during the import most likely related to eConnect errors. This single SQL transaction import would prevent partial transactions from being imported and leaving batches out of balance and unable to post.

When importing large transactions or Analytical Accounting (AA) transactions using eConnect via the Integrator with the SQL transaction import, the import process could slow down or produce performance issues.

Version 8.0.1.0 allows the Integrator to be set to either a Single SQL transaction import (the default upon software installation), or options by module to disable this function. Please note by disabling this function could allow batches to be imported either not fully or not in balance when encountering eConnect errors. You should only select this option if you are experiencing performance issues upon importing.

 

Upgrading to version 8.0.1.0

To complete the upgrade to 8.0.1.0, please follow the separate upgrade documentation found on our FTP site. When the upgrade is complete, you will need to rebuild the Infinia Integrator SQL objects as noted by this dialog box when you open the Integrator for the first time after the upgrade install.

When rebuilding the Infinia Integrator SQL objects, you will need to reset the module setup tables for GL, AP, and AR, by marking the checkboxes below.

PLEASE NOTE: You may want to have a screenshot of the current setup screens, since this will reset the import fields to the default.

After the rebuild is completed, go into the GL, AP, and AR setup screens in the Integrator and re-mark the fields you want to import for each module. Please note the new SQL Transaction options below.
